Professor Pwyll ap Sion
Professor Pwyll ap Siôn is a musician, composer and Professor of Music at Bangor University. He read music at Magdalen College, Oxford, before joining the staff at Bangor University’s School of Music in 1993. He studied composition at Bangor University under John Pickard and Martin Butle, receiving his PhD in 1998. He has published widely ond Welsh popular music and Celtic music.
Dr Sarah Whitfield
Dr Sarah Whitfield is a Senior Lecturer in Musical Theatre and Course Leader MA Musical Theatre at the University of Wolverhampton. She is a musical theatre researcher and practitioner, and as a dramaturg she has collaborated and advised on a range of projects, from site-specific immersive theatre to West End musicals. She’s an academic who’s published widely in the field of musical theatre studies and has significant expericence in curriculum design and delivery across drama and performing arts courses.
Dr James Lovelock
Dr James Lovelock is a Subject Leader for Musical Theatre at the University of Wolverhampton with a background in improvising and creating muscial theatre. He was the original musical director for Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, and his musical Sunshine Guy was premiered in 2013. James is the director of Baron Sternlook Productions. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and has presented papers at both national and international conferences.
