A wealth of bilingual resources to ignite enthusiasm and a love of teaching and learning.
The New Curriculum in Wales
We are devoted to ensuring that learners develop into individuals who enjoy and are enthused to learn and that our resources are able to stimulate, support and sustain educators in supporting learners to be:
- ambitious, able learners who are ready to learn throughout their lives
- enterprising, creative contributors willing to play a full part in life and work
- principled, informed citizens in Wales and the world
- healthy, confident individuals willing to live a complete life as valued members of society
The purpose of the 6 unique Atebol logos for the Areas of Learning and Experience is to facilitate the practitioners’ planning and ensuring that we meet the needs of all learners. These logos will be displayed and used on our educational resources.

A vast selection of fun videos that share a unique audio version of Atebol’s popular stories. Ample opportunites for Foundation Phase children and beyond to enjoy stories through the medium of Welsh. Learners can listen independently at school or at home with family. A valuable resource to develop awareness of Welsh vocabulary. There’s something to suit everyone’s taste!

Additional Educational Needs
Social Skills
We have developed a series of apps that support and develop the social skills of learners with autism, including Asperger’s Syndrome. Click here to explore the vast range of everyday life situations such as answering the phone and how to ask for help in class.

Dyslexia
To help all learners develop a love of reading, the ‘O Gam i Gam’ resource introduces Welsh to dyslexic learners and to others with reading and spelling difficulties.
The popular series ‘Ar Bigau’ has been developed specifically for teenage readers and introduces current themes to engage all young readers.
Braille
We are extremely excited to publish a braille version of the ‘Saith Selog’ (an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s ‘Secret Seven’). An excellent opportunity for blind or visually impaired learners to enjoy and experience Welsh literature. We also won first prize on the international stage in New York, from RNIB for an audio book of one of David Walliams’ titles in Welsh.

Check if I can make a copy of an Atebol resource!
What is it?
The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) simplify copyright for content user. They enable your school, college or university to copy and share extracts of some of our books listed with them without having to seek permission or worry about infringing copyright.
What does it mean to me?
It enables your school or college to make copies of any of our print or digital publications listed with CLA and share that content within the licence guidlines with your pupils and students. It’s easy to use.
You can normally copy 5% or a chapter for your lessons to support learning, saving you valuable time on planning. During the lockdown period this percentage was increased so you should check the CLA website for up to date information.
If you need more information, please visit the CLA site.
How can I check if I can make copies of an Atebol resource?
Checking if you can copy your favourite resource is easy! Simply type the title or author or ISBN number of the publication into CLA’s Check Permissions search tool to get an instant result.
