A music book which includes two songs by two very popular and successful composers: Robat Arwyn and Hector MacDonald. These two songs celebrate the cultural and linguistic links between Wales and Patagonia. 'Mae'r Awel yn ein Harwain' was composed by Robat Arwyn, and it tells the story of the first group of Welsh settlers who sailed to Patagonia on the Mimosa in 1865. Hector MacDonald was born in Patagonia, he composed the second song, 'Cân yr Enwau' which celebrates the link between place names in Wales and Patagonia. The lyrics for both pieces have been written by one of Wales' most popular poets, Tudur Dylan Jones.
